The Art Gallery of Alberta respectfully acknowledges that we are located in Treaty 6 Territory and Region 4 of the Metis Nation of Alberta. We respect this as the traditional and contemporary  land of diverse Indigenous Peoples including the Plains Cree, Woodland Cree, Beaver Cree, Nitsitapi/Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Anishinaabe/Saulteaux/Ojibwe and Dene Peoples. We also acknowledge the many Indigenous, Inuit and Métis people who make Alberta their home today.

Free Session: Leaving a Legacy | Will Preparation and Estate Planning

Sponsored by

May is “Leave a Legacy” month. The AGA is partnering with Dentons to share information about how you can leave a legacy through a will and estate planning:

Date/Time: Friday, May 26, 10-11 am
Speakers: Doris Bonora, KC, Partner, Dentons
Catherine Crowston, Executive Director and Chief Curator, Art Gallery of Alberta

In this one-hour session, you will learn about what legacy giving is, how it works, as well as common questions or everything you need to consider before writing your Will. You will also learn about the benefits of becoming an AGA Legacy Maker.

Leaving a gift to the AGA is a powerful and simple way to support the AGA’s exhibitions, education, programming and art preservation, empowering our ability to offer access to the arts for generations to come. Join us on May 26 to gain insight into leaving a legacy.

The AGA is partnering with Dentons to offer this free event. Space is limited; please register in advance. Coffee, tea and snacks will be served.
