The Art Gallery of Alberta respectfully acknowledges that we are located in Treaty 6 Territory and Region 4 of the Metis Nation of Alberta. We respect this as the traditional and contemporary  land of diverse Indigenous Peoples including the Plains Cree, Woodland Cree, Beaver Cree, Nitsitapi/Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Anishinaabe/Saulteaux/Ojibwe and Dene Peoples. We also acknowledge the many Indigenous, Inuit and Métis people who make Alberta their home today.

#AGALive | Art of Drag with BOA

Location
Virtual, registration required
#AGAlive

Join us on June 29th for a kiki with BOA from Canada's Drag Race as part of our Pride Month celebrations. We will spill the tea about the creative side of drag and find out what inspires BOA when putting a look together. BOA will also discuss some tips and tricks you can use when getting into drag and painting your face. We hope you will join us for the lively discussion moderated by Michael Magnussen, AGA's Public Programs and Outreach Coordinator. Following the conversation, there will be time for a short Q&A from the audience.

Art of Drag with BOA is the second event in our Pride Program. Please join us for our first event on June 24 at 7pm for the Pride Panel with Nasra Adem, Harley Morman, and Cedar T.

#AGAlive is presented by the EPCOR Heart + Soul Fund and the Canada Council for the Arts
