Storytelling Workshop with Marigold Santos

Join artist Marigold Santos for a storytelling workshop organized in connection with "for the time being: 2017 Alberta Biennial of Contemporary Art", which features one of the artist’s recent works. 

Santos will discuss how her personal experience of immigration to Canada and the folklore she brought with her from the Philippines has informed the work she creates, exploring notions of identity and mythology.

This workshop will also invite participants to share their own experiences of immigration and the stories and folklore important to their heritage.
