Are you ravenous for deeper learning about art? For this month’s Art for Lunch, Gallery Attendant Rebecca John will facilitate an exploration of movement based on the body-language inherent in surf, skate and boarding culture.
Body memory is real. Movement work can be a powerful way to reconnect with past generations of our ancestors on this land, as well as a constructive tool towards decolonization.
Join us on Thursday February 21, 12:10–12:50 pm, as we create an improvised movement vocabulary to explore the space and themes of decolonization, Indigenous resistance and cultural thrivance on this land in Boarder X.
No previous experience required. All bodies and neurodiversities welcome! Art for Lunch is free with admission. This tour meets at Guest Services
