Step behind the curtains with AGA educators and become the puppet master (and maker) of your very own marionette, inspired by artist Wael Shawky’s puppetry in CABARAET CRUSADES: THE SECRETS of KARBALA, on view in Turbulent Landings: The NGC 2017 Canadian Biennial.

Celebrate Edmonton Design Week by stepping behind the scenes of the Art Gallery of Alberta’s exhibitions with our in-house Curatorial Designer, Charles Cousins, as he reveals the secret lives of the fonts, wall colours, and visual identities that accompany art on display.

Explore current exhibitions to discover more about Alberta’s history and diverse society.
