ActivateAGA: Pop Up Poetry with Breath In Poetry

#activateAGA

Join Edmonton’s Poet Laureate, Ahmed Knowmadic, and Edmonton’s only spoken word collective, Breath In Poetry, for a series of poetic responses to three current AGA exhibitions: WordMark: A New Chapter Acquisition Project, Faye HeavyShield: Calling Stones (Conversations), and Turbulent Landings: The 2017 NGC Canadian Biennial.

Gain new insight into exhibition themes through the poet’s thoughtful responses to each exhibition.

ActivateAGA is a new series of pop-up performances that activate your AGA in surprising ways and in unique places.

Bios

The Breath In Poetry collective is a collection of poets, organizers and conscientious community members who have, since their humble beginnings in the winter of 2009, sought to expand the reach, efficacy and consciousness of Edmonton-based poetry.
