EDMONTON, AB | An avid beadworker of M'ikmaqi, Cree and Eastern European decent, Mell also works as a substance abuse and mental health specialist in central Edmonton. She is an active volunteer, mother and lifelong scholar with a love for psychology.
Mell ensures all her work is created sustainably and of ethically harvested hides and horse hair. She enjoys using vibrant and contrasting colours. One of her most notable works are beaded poppies featured within the Canadian Museum of Textiles in Toronto, ON.
