Frances Alty-Arscott is a well-known Alberta artist and art educator who resides in Edmonton. Frances received her BFA from the University of Alberta in 1980. Her vibrant work is in public and private collections throughout Canada and the United States. In addition to her painting, Frances lectures and teaches both adults and children in creative approaches to watercolour. Registered with the Alberta Foundation for the Arts "Artist and Residency Program", Frances specializes in elementary art education.
