EDMONTON, AB | Catherine started weaving as a teenager when the monetary prize from an art competition afforded her the opportunity to take a weaving course. Her weaving is focused on creating singular pieces of wearable art. She interprets the world around her, be it natural or man-made, re-imagining classic weaving drafts, intersecting design, colour and texture.
