Present your card to an AGA employee upon completion of any of the following activities. Complete any 10 out of 12, and redeem your card for a reward!

Take a tour

There are so many opportunities to tour your AGA. Visit an a Highlight tour on Saturdays and Sundays (free with gallery admission, 1-3pm on the hour); get to know a single work at Hello, My Name is Art (free with gallery admission, dates vary); follow a curator’s tour or book a private tour! Ask your tour guide to mark your Rewards Card.

Drop-In to a Class

Roll up your sleeves and work with new art-making techniques at Adult Drop-In, Wednesdays 7-9pm. Youth 13-17 can drop in to Studio Y, Wednesdays 4-6pm. Ask Guest Services to mark your Rewards Card.

Catch a Film Night

The movies are free at your AGA. Join us in Ledcor Theatre for art-related films on the third Wednesday of each Month. Ask the film attendant to mark your Rewards Card.

Tots aged 3-5 and their families are welcome to this weekly drop-in session featuring gallery adventures, art making and more! Wednesdays, 10-11am, Free with Gallery Admission. Ask Guest Services to mark your Rewards Card.

Ask a Gallery Attendant

Gallery Attendants are the friendly faces you see inside exhibition spaces wearing “Ask Me!” buttons. They are there to answer your questions, chat, and keep the artwork safe. Don’t be shy—ask them a question about the art! Don’t forget to ask your Gallery Attendant to mark your Rewards Card.

Snap a Selfie

Who doesn’t love a selfie with Art? Show Guest Services staff a selfie of you enjoying the AGA and they will mark your Rewards Card.

Read at REMIX

Do you love to read, think and chat about art, but don’t have time to do all of that? Join your AGA and the Edmonton Public Library for a tour and chat about AGA exhibitions and articles/podcasts. Dates and times vary. Ask your program facilitator to mark your Rewards Card.

Have Art for Lunch

Are you ravenous for deeper learning about art? Join one of our skilled Gallery Attendants each month for an insightful perspective on an AGA exhibition or exhibited artwork. Third Thursday of each month, 12:10-12:50pm, Free with admission. Ask your Gallery attendant to mark your Rewards Card.

Enjoy the VIBE

Wind down your workweek with live music, small plates and drinks at the Art Gallery of Alberta. The third Friday of the month, watch the sun set, listen to musical performances and enjoy Zinc’s special menu, cocktails, beer and wine. Art activities round out the evening, and gallery exhibitions are open late.

Tickets are $12.50 +GST or Free for AGA members; available in advance or at the door. Cash food and beverage bar provided by Zinc. Ask Guest Services Staff to mark your Rewards Card.

Made it to 10?

Once you have 10 punched stars marked on your Activity Rewards Card, show it to Guest Services staff and choose from one of the following great rewards:

  • Two tickets to the VIBE of your choice in 2018
  • Two AGA Admission passes
  • One of a selection of exhibition catalogues from Shop AGA
  • Two of a selection of artwork prints from Shop AGA
