Olga is a Registered Canadian Art Therapist and Certified Counsellor - Supervisor who, while living in Montreal, was immersed in community open art studios - also known as Art Hives. She knows that art can have a meaningful, positive impact on individuals and communities, and since her move to Alberta four years ago, has slowly been learning about what that looks like in Edmonton. Recently shifting her clinical work away from an agency and into private practice and teaching, her work with children, youth and communities is continuing to blossom. When she isn't making art, you can find her in nature, riding her bike, playing or building creative communities with other creative arts practitioners.
The Art Gallery of Alberta respectfully acknowledges that we are located in Treaty 6 Territory and Region 4 of the Metis Nation of Alberta. We respect this as the traditional and contemporary land of diverse Indigenous Peoples including the Plains Cree, Woodland Cree, Beaver Cree, Nitsitapi/Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Anishinaabe/Saulteaux/Ojibwe and Dene Peoples. We also acknowledge the many Indigenous, Inuit and Métis people who make Alberta their home today.
