We also acknowledge the many Indigenous, Inuit and Métis people who make Alberta their home today.

Seniors Takeover Day at the AGA

On October 5, we welcome all Seniors and lifelong learners for a free jam-packed day of programs for seniors, programmed by our Seniors Group “Aging Artfully”. Enjoy access to our current exhibitions while partaking in free art activities, live musical performances, tours, film screening, discussions, 360 video booth, and complimentary coffee and treats. We will be joined by three local musical acts including performances by guitar player Jared Sieusahai, folk musician Lionel Rault, and the amazing quartet Will Cramer Four. All our programs will be lead and hosted by seniors for seniors. With a special 10% discount for seniors from shopAGA and exclusive discounts on AGA Memberships, it’s a great day to visit the AGA. This is also one of your last chances to visit From Warhol to Banksy which invites visitors to view works of art that highlight the Pop Art Movement.

Seniors can partake in Senior’s Takeover Day for free, thanks to the Meet Me Downtown Grant! Please register in advance.
