Canada Day at the AGA 2023 - Free Admission

This Canada Day, the AGA invites the public to reflect on our truth and history as part of our commitment toward reconciliation. Admission is FREE, courtesy of Station Lands Ltd. by Qualico.

All exhibitions will be open—visitors are invited to take in exhibitions that

• Feature Indigenous artists, including kisikayastew ᑭᓯᑲᔭᐢᑌᐤ…when the night shines like the day (featuring the art of Lana Whiskeyjack) and ᐋᐧᐸᑲᐧᓃᐊᐧᐣ Wâpakwanîwin (To bloom, it has many flowers), an exhibition in our Children’s Gallery (featuring the art of Christi Belcourt).
• Highlight the Pop Art movement in From Warhol to Banksy
• Explore contemporary art, such as Kenzie Housego: I❤ U, Dance Party and Uii Savage: Celestial Passage
• Unveil the detailed work and hidden social commentaries in William Hogarth: Gone to the Dogs
• Support Alberta artists featured in Home & Migration
