The Hive Youth Council

The Hive is a group of dedicated teen volunteers committed to growing teen audiences at the Art Gallery of Alberta.

Council members work with AGA staff to develop programming at the AGA for youth by youth.

We're accepting applications for our HIVE Youth Council for the 2020/21 school year. Are you between the ages of 13–17? Are you interested in the arts and contributing to your community? Join the HIVE! You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Gain exclusive access to the inner workings of the Gallery
  • Collaborate with local artists and creative professionals
  • Work alongside staff to design and develop programming initiatives meaningful to you and your peers
