Summer Education Programs

AGA Summer Education Programs offer multiple access points to current exhibitions and the AGA collection in-person and online. Through observation, inquiry, sketching and movement activities, children and youth explore BIG IDEAS in the artwork while making connections to themselves and their communities.

Bookings are available in-person Tuesday-Friday or online from Monday-Friday. To inquire about or book a program, reach out to our Education and Learning Administrator, Trish Whitebone, at: education@youraga.ca

In-person Group Tours

Join us in-Gallery for close looking and thoughtful reflections. Each tour is 90-minutes in length. These tours are available on Tuesdays-Fridays at 9:30am and 12pm.

In-person Studio Sessions

Come visit the AGA Education Studios for an art-making experience! Each studio session is 2 hours in length. These sessions are available on Tuesdays-Fridays at 9:30am and 12pm.

Full Day Program

Spend the day with us! In this 4.5-hour program, combine an in-Gallery tour in the morning and a studio session in the afternoon. The best of both worlds! Includes a space to have lunch. These programs are available Tuesdays-Fridays at 9:30am.

Online Studio Sessions

60-min studio exploring artwork from current exhibitions and our collection and time to get creative and make a unique artwork. Bookings available Monday-Friday. (Materials not included)

Online Group Conversations

30-min conversations about artwork in current exhibitions and gems from our collection. Come for the conversation and leave with a creative prompt. Bookings available Monday-Friday.
