The Art Gallery of Alberta (AGA) is seeking submissions from Alberta’s Indigenous artists for our Indigenous Arts Market taking place in the Main Hall of the AGA on September 28, 2025. This market will be a great opportunity to showcase your work in the heart of Edmonton’s Arts District and sell your handmade art, and amazing one-of-a-kind products. This market is for Indigenous artists and makers.
The Market will take place on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 11am-4:30pm in the Main Hall, a large public space at the AGA that will be free to the public to shop and browse. This market aims to prioritize artists that work in a variety of mediums, though we are most interested in accessible handmade work, art, multiples, and prints. We are looking to highlight members of local Indigenous communities. The AGA seeks to support emerging and established artists and will prioritize diverse voices in the field.
