The Art Gallery of Alberta respectfully acknowledges that we are located in Treaty 6 Territory and Region 4 of the Metis Nation of Alberta. We respect this as the traditional and contemporary  land of diverse Indigenous Peoples including the Plains Cree, Woodland Cree, Beaver Cree, Nitsitapi/Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Anishinaabe/Saulteaux/Ojibwe and Dene Peoples. We also acknowledge the many Indigenous, Inuit and Métis people who make Alberta their home today.

Refinery: Last of Us

Please note: This event is now sold out.

Join the last of us on October 28 as we party in the apocalypse. Celebrate Halloween at your AGA and escape the undead creatures plaguing our streets and city.

Inspired by the hit TV show filmed in Alberta, The Last of Us, we are transforming the AGA into a dystopian dancehall! Enjoy an evening with artists, mysterious strangers and the undead while you dance the night away during the last party on Earth.

- Move to the music on our two dance floors
- Enjoy performances throughout the night
- View our current exhibitions
- Make art at our activity stations
- Sip on killer cocktails
- And add an option Premium Pass for your exclusive access to the VIP bar!

Do you want to be our QUEEN, KING OR THING OF HALLOWEEN? Compete for the Best Homemade Costume contest to win the title and prize.

Dress code: Costumes are a must! So come as a Zombie, Apocalypse Survivor, a Barbie, or a Zombie Barbie. GO ALL OUT!

The AGA is a welcoming, inclusive and safe place. We value all our guests, whether you self-identify as a member of the LGBTQ2S, visible minority or the under marginalized community. The AGA has a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination of any kind. Refinery is an 18-plus art party.

An AGA’s signature event, Refinery has been a staple on Edmonton’s cultural calendar for over a decade. It’s an art party that you don’t want to miss!
