Refinery: Go for Gold

Refinery: Go For Gold is sold out - please note, tickets will not be sold at the door.

The Art Gallery of Alberta (AGA) is bringing the fun back with the hottest art party in the province, Refinery: Go for Gold on March 4. For one night only, we are painting the town gold and cheering on our champions. We have a lot to celebrate: the Junos, March Madness, St. Patrick’s Day, sports tournaments and the Oscars. With everyone vying for gold and snatching up trophies, we are here to celebrate our best 24-carat life as Edmonton’s Number One Gallery and Building1

Enjoy an evening with local artists, interactive art experiences, live DJs on the dancefloor, and delightful cocktails at our Gold Bar. Grab your golden ticket and join us! You don’t want to miss Edmonton’s most iconic party at your AGA.

Music by DJ Rudy Roman and DJ Paige, with performances by Melinda Verga and LeTabby Lexington. Art activities provided by the AGA Art Educators with special guest artists Messanie Raphael and Diana Ohiozebau.

Dress code: Looks are encouraged, so dress for a night out. Up the ante and add a little sparkle to your step with our theme for the evening, Glitter and Gold. Thematic looks are welcomed but not required. With special VIP guests, you never know who is going to turn up.

Refinery, an art party for all, is the AGA’s signature event and has been a staple on Edmonton’s cultural calendar for over a decade. Inspired by our recent exhibitions that focus on sports and community resilience, we hope you unleash your inner artist at the AGA after dark as we celebrate this Golden era.

The AGA is a welcoming, inclusive and safe place. We value all our guests, whether you self-identify as a member of the LGBTQ2S, visible minority or marginalized community. The AGA has a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination of any kind. This program is an 18+ party.
