'Pride' Film Screening – Presented by HIV Edmonton at the AGA

Join HIV Edmonton and the AGA on August 19th for a special by-donation Pride screening of iconic film Pride at 7pm. We will be screening the film in our Ledcor Theatre in the lower level of the AGA.

This film is rated 14A for a mature audience and contains scenes of violence and discriminatory language. There is no food or drink in the theatre, we do allow bottled water.

About Pride: Pride is a 2014 British historical comedy-drama film directed by Matthew Warchus. Based on a true story, it depicts a group of lesbian and gay activists who raised money to help families affected by the British miners' strike in 1984, at the outset of what would become the Lesbians and Gays Support the Miners campaign

About HIV Edmonton: HIV Edmonton is dedicated to making life better for people living with, or affected by HIV and AIDS. We do this by focusing on the elimination of HIV transmission and AIDS-related deaths and working to erase the stigma and discrimination faced by people living with, and affected by HIV and AIDS.

If you would like to be notified about upcoming films or to suggest a film for screening, please email Michael at Michael.Goto.Magnussen@youraga.ca. Alternatively, you can subscribe to our E-News or follow us @youraga on social media to get the latest news.
