The Art Gallery of Alberta respectfully acknowledges that we are located in Treaty 6 Territory and Region 4 of the Métis Nation of Alberta. We respect this as the traditional and contemporary  land of diverse Indigenous Peoples including the Plains Cree, Woodland Cree, Beaver Cree, Nitsitapi/Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Anishinaabe/Saulteaux/Ojibwe and Dene Peoples. We also acknowledge the many Indigenous, Inuit and Métis people who make Alberta their home today.

Indigenous Arts Market 2024

Main Hall
Sponsored by

The AGA invites you to a special weekend market on September 21 and 22, which will celebrate local Indigenous talent. We hope you will join us to see the amazing creations by these talented artists.

Through this market, the AGA wishes to promote and highlight the amazingly talented Indigenous artists in our community. Taking place over two days,  from 11am to 5pm, the Indigenous Arts Market will be free to experience and shop in the AGA’s Main Hall. It’s the perfect place to find a handpicked selection of incredible artists and products.

A big thank you to Canadian Western Bank for supporting our markets at the AGA as part of our Empowering Arts & Business Market Series.

Our galleries will be open all day for you to experience and enjoy for the price of general admission. The AGA is free for students and youth all year long.  See our current exhibitions here.
