Brin Steeves is the artist behind Oil & Birch Ceramics. Steeves has been working full time on this creative venture since 2020. She is an advocate and spent 8 years serving and growing in Edmonton's inner city, working closely with Indigenous, LGBTQ2S+ and youth communities.  Her time doing community outreach work and offering therapeutic art programming for young people experiencing homelessness, crisis, addiction, mental health struggles, systemic oppression, etc. has informed her artistic practice and she now strives to create art to help others see their superpowers.
