Do you have artwork by the Edmonton artist Sidney Kelsie?

Kelsie’s home near Commonwealth Stadium on 112th Ave. was a local landmark until he passed away in 2000. His dazzling yard was adorned with wooden cut-outs that he painted with abstract designs, animals, figures and scenes of everyday life. Many people in Edmonton purchased Kelsie’s work to hang in their own gardens and homes and we want to see them!

Works that you share will help us with an upcoming exhibition about him.

If you have a work by Kelsie please take a photo of it and send us an email with your name and phone number to curatorial@youraga.ca. All responses will be kept confidential.
