We also acknowledge the many Indigenous, Inuit and Métis people who make Alberta their home today.

Art on the Block 2020 Curator's Preview

Sponsored by
#AOTB2020
Executive Director/Chief Curator, Catherine Crowston, will provide a deeper look at select artworks on October 2.

This year, AOTB will be a hybrid event—a combination of an online auction and exhibition of auction items from October 2-4. You can visit the Art Gallery of Alberta to see the artworks in-person and then bid online for the art or art-inspired experience that catches your eye. All proceeds from the auction go towards the AGA's educational programs and exhibitions, thanks to valued supporters like you. We hope you'll bid generously again this year. The auction closes at 5pm on Sunday, October 4.

We're also delighted to host a Curator's Preview Event this year. Our Executive Director/Chief Curator, Catherine Crowston, will provide a deeper look at select artworks on October 2. Guests can socialize while keeping safe distance and enjoy individually packaged charcuterie boxes and our open bar. You will also have the opportunity to purchase artworks at fair market value or participate in the online bidding.

Only 44 tickets are available, so don't miss out as this intimate gathering is sure to sell out. Tickets are $200 a person and include a $150 tax receipt.
