The Art Gallery of Alberta respectfully acknowledges that we are located in Treaty 6 Territory and Region 4 of the Metis Nation of Alberta. We respect this as the traditional and contemporary  land of diverse Indigenous Peoples including the Plains Cree, Woodland Cree, Beaver Cree, Nitsitapi/Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Anishinaabe/Saulteaux/Ojibwe and Dene Peoples. We also acknowledge the many Indigenous, Inuit and Métis people who make Alberta their home today.

All Day Sunday | Opening Reception of 'Probably, Plausibly, Possibly'

Installation view of Probably, Plausibly, Possibly, Art Gallery of Alberta, 2024.

In this special edition of All Day Sunday, join us for the opening of our Children’s Gallery, designed by Jaime Calayo!

About Probably, Plausibly, Possibly: This exhibition imagines what the AGA might look like another 100 years into the future with audio collages and kid collaborations. Kids and families step into a time machine where they listen to and hear what is happening in a future world. As co-creators of the future, kids participate in reflective art activities to cultivate a vision and path forward. Organized by the Art Gallery of Alberta, curated by Dara Armsden and showcased in the AGA’s Children’s Gallery.

About All Day Sundays: All Day Sundays take place the second Sunday of every month between 12 and 4pm. This event provide families the opportunities to spend the afternoon exploring art and ideas connected to current exhibitions. With programs and projects scheduled throughout the day, families can stay for a while or drop in for a quick visit. All Day Sunday activities include hands-on art-making, storytelling, performances, Gallery visits and collaborative projects.
