Artist Spotlight: Mohammed Hossein Abbasi

We’re excited to welcome Mohammad Hossein Abbasi as our guest speaker for this networking event!

Mohammad is a visual artist and educator whose work explores ideas of home, identity, and belonging through painting. His practice focuses on transformation and the immigrant experience, reflecting on the spaces we occupy between cultures.

A graduate of Tehran Azad University and the University of Alberta, Mohammad now lives and teaches in Edmonton. His thoughtful, layered work invites viewers to reflect on memory, place, and personal history.
