The Art Gallery of Alberta respectfully acknowledges that we are located in Treaty 6 Territory and Region 4 of the Metis Nation of Alberta. We respect this as the traditional and contemporary  land of diverse Indigenous Peoples including the Plains Cree, Woodland Cree, Beaver Cree, Nitsitapi/Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Anishinaabe/Saulteaux/Ojibwe and Dene Peoples. We also acknowledge the many Indigenous, Inuit and Métis people who make Alberta their home today.

Apr 14 | Everyday Curiosities

Jude Griebel: Barn Skull is presently in Manning Hall and gives us an up-close look into how rural objects are humanized in our imaginations. Seek out some treasures in your house and meet back to bring those objects to life.

To participate online:

  1. Register through the events calendar to receive a meeting link to our event.
  2. Ensure you have the Google Meet or Gmail mobile app.
  3. Gather the following materials: Pencil, eraser, paint, water, a cloth, napkins, pencil crayons, oil pastels, paper, scissors, cardboard pieces, plasticine and a small lidded container with random pieces and loose parts.
  4. Find a space to set up your device that has room to spread out and move.
  5. Position your device so that you can clearly see us and we can see you (we’d love to see your faces!)
  6. Tune in every Wednesday at 10am for fun and inspiring adventures with Krisna!
