The Art Gallery of Alberta respectfully acknowledges that we are located in Treaty 6 Territory and Region 4 of the Metis Nation of Alberta. We respect this as the traditional and contemporary  land of diverse Indigenous Peoples including the Plains Cree, Woodland Cree, Beaver Cree, Nitsitapi/Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Anishinaabe/Saulteaux/Ojibwe and Dene Peoples. We also acknowledge the many Indigenous, Inuit and Métis people who make Alberta their home today.

Salsa Dancing with Maxwell Aguilar at the Art Gallery of Alberta

In celebration of our newly opened exhibition Dance Party we are hosting a free, drop-in Salsa Dance Class during our monthly free Night at the Gallery starting at 6PM. Please join us for a fun beginner introduction to Salsa taught by Maxwell Aguilar from Caribbean Touch Dance School in our Main Hall.

You can participate in this free hour-long program simply by showing up to the AGA. We do recommend coming earlier to see the exhibitions before the program starts at 6pm.  Free Night at the AGA is the last Thursday of the month from 4pm to 7pm.

This dance class is part of the public program for the exhibition Dance Party. Learn more about this exhibition below.
