Join us for an artist talk and exhibition tour by George Littlechild of the new exhibition Here I am – can you see me? on November 6th at 2:00pm. Here I am – can you see me? features a series of 22 drawings of First Nations children who may have perished while attending residential school in Maskwacis, AB. The exhibition gives remembrance, recognition, honour and validation to the thousands of innocent children who lost their lives in the residential school system.
You can participate in this hour-long program both in person and online through watching our Zoom livestream. Registration is required for guest attending in person; due to the space limitations registration is limited. This artist talk is included in the price of general admission to the gallery or free for members. The livestream of the artist talk is free and will require advance registration as well. After the artist talk there will be time for a live Q&A with the audience.
