Join artist Harley Morman and curator Lindsey Sharman for a virtual tour and conversation about the new exhibition Let’s Do the Time Warp Again on October 28th at 5:30pm on Zoom. This hour-long program will begin with a filmed tour of the exhibition featuring Harley and Lindsey in conversation about the work on display, after this portion we will have a live discussion with time reserved at the end for an audience Q&A.

Harley Morman’s Let’s Do the Time Warp Again uses lenticular images to consider time and repetition. You may be familiar with these retro ‘animations’ in which two related images are combined and seem to come alive when you change perspective or position. By using Lenticulars in his artworks, Morman presents images that transform as you move around the exhibition space and to show how a change in perspective can completely alter what and how you see. Read more about the exhibition here.

#AGAlive is presented by the EPCOR Heart + Soul Fund and the Canada Council for the Arts. . Organized by the Art Gallery of Alberta and curated by Lindsey Sharman. The RBC New Works Gallery features new artworks by Alberta artists and continues the Art Gallery of Alberta’s tradition of supporting and promoting Alberta artists.
