Bios

Hi, I’m Kyle, and my pronouns are they and them. I wear many hats in many different communities, and I am excited to be leading yoga classes here at the AGA this spring!

Over the years, yoga has been a vehicle for healing and growth in the mental and spiritual pieces of myself. It was the beginning of a conversation with my body I’d been afraid to have for too long, and it became a vital instrumental for me in coming to understand pieces of my identity and healing the trauma of my past.

In 2010, a mentor of mine at the time shared: “we teach yoga to relieve the pain and suffering of others”; over the years, I have come to recognize that as my purpose - using movement and connection to relieve the pain and suffering of the many communities I am a part of.

As my relationship with yoga deepens, so too does my understanding of my purpose as a facilitator. I look forward to meeting you on the mat and holding space for you as you uncover your own power through practice.
