Bios

Sara McKarney's practice explores ideas of place, focusing on how memories and personal objects relate to the concept of home. Using both traditional and less conventional methods of printmaking, her work often showcases the process of how it was made.

She received a Fine Arts Diploma from MacEwan University, a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Lethbridge, and completed a Preparatorial Work Study through the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and found-space locations, as well as acquired private and public collections, internationally. More information and images of her work can be found at www.saramckarney.com.
