The Art Gallery of Alberta respectfully acknowledges that we are located in Treaty 6 Territory and Region 4 of the Metis Nation of Alberta. We respect this as the traditional and contemporary  land of diverse Indigenous Peoples including the Plains Cree, Woodland Cree, Beaver Cree, Nitsitapi/Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Anishinaabe/Saulteaux/Ojibwe and Dene Peoples. We also acknowledge the many Indigenous, Inuit and Métis people who make Alberta their home today.

Dreams, Art and Spring

March 3—April 14, 2018 (no class March 31)
Saturdays from 10am to 11:30am

Ages 9–12

Enjoy the warmer weather; we'll be drawing 'en plein air' sketches in Sir Winston Churchill Square! Transform your studies into more complex artworks using techniques such as wood constructions and printmaking on fabric. Inspired by the exhibition RBC WorkRoom: Gloria Mok—Metamorphosis,  paint your own dreams of spring using unusual materials. We'll experiment with India ink, puzzle pieces and string. Turn your sketches and dreams into amazing artworks.
