The Art Gallery of Alberta respectfully acknowledges that we are located in Treaty 6 Territory and Region 4 of the Metis Nation of Alberta. We respect this as the traditional and contemporary  land of diverse Indigenous Peoples including the Plains Cree, Woodland Cree, Beaver Cree, Nitsitapi/Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Anishinaabe/Saulteaux/Ojibwe and Dene Peoples. We also acknowledge the many Indigenous, Inuit and Métis people who make Alberta their home today.

Join us at your AGA for this special edition Community Tour of From Here, Convening Place. The Community Tour series presents visitors with unique perspectives on the stories and history told in the exhibition.

This evening we are thrilled to welcome Chinese community advocates Kathryn Lennon and Shawn Tse to lead a Community Tour in conjunction with the exhibition From Here, Convening Place. For this extended Community Tour we will begin in the AGA’s Manning Hall and then embark on a walking tour of the neighbouring Chinatown South area. Please wear appropriate footwear. Tour will go ahead rain or shine except in extreme weather conditions.

Kathryn 君妍 Lennon is a culturally curious poet and organizer, born and raised in Edmonton—Treaty 6 Territory.
