Join us at your AGA for a series of tours of Boarder X led by Edmonton community members. The Community Tour series presents visitors with unique perspectives on the stories and history told in the exhibition.

Free event during Thursday All Access Evenings
6-7 pm (3rd floor)
Maximum tour capacity 30 people

This evening we are thrilled to welcome Colonialism Skateboards founder Micheal Langan, to lead our second community tour of Boarder X

Micheal is a Saulteaux artist from Cote First Nation, Treaty 4 Territory, who is committed to educating people through creative and haunting renderings of our colonial past. In summer 2015 he launched his own skateboard company—Colonialism Skateboards—to draw attention to, and have people engage with, complex and telling aspects of Indigenous Canadian history and culture.

Recently Colonialism Skateboards collaborated with artist Kent Monkman on a series of skateboard decks that are featured in Boarder X.
