In this edition of Art for Lunch join Gallery Attendant Luciana Erregue-Sacchi on her literary take of the exhibition Fix your hearts or die, curated by AGA's Adjunct Curator of Indigenous Art Jessie Ray Short. We will focus primarily on the work Mothering Myself: My Womb Pains by Daniel Cardinal McCartney. Through the idea of making space for 'other bodies,’ Luciana will explore the concept of blood memory and maternal intergenerational trauma, reading poems and literary essays on the foreign-born maternal female body.
