The Art Gallery of Alberta respectfully acknowledges that we are located in Treaty 6 Territory and Region 4 of the Metis Nation of Alberta. We respect this as the traditional and contemporary  land of diverse Indigenous Peoples including the Plains Cree, Woodland Cree, Beaver Cree, Nitsitapi/Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Anishinaabe/Saulteaux/Ojibwe and Dene Peoples. We also acknowledge the many Indigenous, Inuit and Métis people who make Alberta their home today.

For the 23rd Annual Historic Festival & Doors Open, the AGA Is offering special Exhibition Highlight Tours on July 6th and 7th. These tours are bite-sized introductions to AGA exhibitions led by our skilled volunteer Exhibition Ambassadors. Each 20 minute tour offers a sampling of key words, themes and context. These tours will look at the current exhibition Cul- de-Sac, which explores the underlying structures shaped by the relationship to the land that influenced the design of our built environment.

Tours run at 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 3:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Free with admission.
