We respect this as the traditional and contemporary  land of diverse Indigenous Peoples including the Plains Cree, Woodland Cree, Beaver Cree, Nitsitapi/Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Anishinaabe/Saulteaux/Ojibwe and Dene Peoples. We also acknowledge the many Indigenous, Inuit and Métis people who make Alberta their home today.

Volunteer Opportunity: Exhibition Guide

FacebookTwitterPinterestShare

Are you excited about the arts and eager to share your passion with others? Are you interested in learning more about AGA exhibitions and programs? We are seeking engaging and outgoing volunteers with a range of arts experience to join our Exhibition Guide program.

Exhibition Guides act as hosts in gallery spaces. They work alongside Gallery Attendants to create a welcoming and engaging visitor experience by participating in informal, conversational interpretation and delivering short Exhibition Highlights tours. Exhibition Guides receive interpretive training alongside AGA staff, including introductory sessions and exhibition walk-throughs prior to each exhibition opening.

For more information about this opportunity, see our Volunteer Exhibition Guide position description

Volunteers interested in applying to the Exhibition Guide Program are encouraged to submit a CV and statement of intent to info@youraga.ca with Exhibition Guide Program as the subject line. Applicants who meet the qualifications mentioned above will be contacted for an interview.
