The Art Gallery of Alberta respectfully acknowledges that we are located in Treaty 6 Territory and Region 4 of the Metis Nation of Alberta. We respect this as the traditional and contemporary  land of diverse Indigenous Peoples including the Plains Cree, Woodland Cree, Beaver Cree, Nitsitapi/Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Anishinaabe/Saulteaux/Ojibwe and Dene Peoples. We also acknowledge the many Indigenous, Inuit and Métis people who make Alberta their home today.

We are excited to announce that we have updated our membership programs just in time for summer!

As your AGA, we want our dedicated supporters to get the most out of their memberships, so we decided to make some changes. With fun new names and even more upgrades, we can assure you that these are the best memberships yet for a value that you will enjoy.

Absolutely all of our AGA members get great perks just for joining:

  • Free admission to the gallery. Come down to unwind or see a new perspective and make gallery visits a habit on your time.
  • Invitations to opening events where you’ll be the first to see the newest exhibitions.
  • A discount on education programs. We have drop-in and registered weekly programs for you and all your little ones.

From there, choose the membership that fits you best!

Engage is the same great standard membership with better value.

Advantage is a combined student and senior membership that comes with plenty of benefits at a great price.

Explore is a membership for a family or for you and a friend which allows you to explore what the AGA has to offer, as well as what various museums and galleries across North America & Europe do too!

Enhance is the perfect membership for those who frequently visit art galleries both locally and when travelling and would like to support the AGA at a higher level. With special perks, this membership will enhance your experience at the AGA even further.

What are you waiting for? Now’s the perfect time to join, or talk to us about taking your membership to that next level. Become a member!
