Before the internet, there were zines (short for magazine). These DIY artworks/journals subverted the publishing establishment by allowing artists, writers and more to explore topics outside the mainstream and express their own lived experiences. Be a rebel and make your own zine with these easy steps:
1. FOLD your paper in half vertically
2. FOLD your paper horizontally
3. FOLD the edges to the middle to create quarters
4. CUT from the middle fold to the quarter fold
5. CREATE and share your message with the world! All you need to get started is a sheet of paper, scissors, art supplies and mad folding skills!
