Become an artist patron

The Art Gallery of Alberta’s Artist Patron Program gives donors like you the special opportunity to support the exhibition of an individual artist’s work or a thematic exhibition. This important program enables us to help share new stories and continue our excellent and innovative practice in programming, stewardship, and presentation of visual arts in our community and across the country.

Silver Artist Patron $2,500+

As a Silver Artist Patron, you receive name recognition in the following locations and publications:

  • Introductory panel wall during the exhibition 

  • With exhibition information on the AGA website 

  • AGA annual donor appreciation wall & AGA annual Report to the Community
  • Acknowledgement during the welcome remarks at the opening reception 

  • Invitations to the exhibition’s VIP and opening receptions 


Gold Artist Patron $5,000+

Gold Artist Patrons receive all Silver benefits plus:

  • Recognition in AGA e-news, media releases, and the exhibition page in AGA’s Take Part publication
  • Invitation to the Media Preview with the Executive Director and visiting artists
  • Recognition in associated exhibition catalogues (where applicable)
  • Mention in Opening and VIP Reception Executive Director remarks
