Bios

An independent visual artist, Paul Freeman is the Artistic Director at the Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts, an art centre for artists with developmental disabilities in Edmonton. He is also a drawing instructor at the University of Alberta in the Department of Art and Design. Freeman received his BFA from The Alberta College of Art and Design (Calgary) in 1998, and his MFA from the University of Alberta (Edmonton) in 2005. He is the recipient of numerous academic awards, scholarships and grants, and his work has been exhibited in public and private spaces across Canada.
