Toyo Kawamura

Born in Kyoto, Japan.

Took private lessons in painting from Mr. Michio Kuwada (a member of Shinseisaku association of artists)

BA from University of Lethbridge.

Worked one year with Otto Rogers at University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon.

MA in fine art University of Calgary (Studied with Mr. Harry Kiyooka)

Served as a review committee member for Alberta Art Foundation from ’79 to ’81
