Mariana Espindola

Mariana is graduating with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in History of Art, Design, and Visual Culture at the University of Alberta, having done research on Eduardo Kobra’s mural Ethnicities in Rio de Janeiro, and Latin American indigenism. Further research is aimed at religious imagery in heavy metal music album covers. She is driven by pop culture, philosophy of art, a very diverse collection of music, and an insatiable appetite for world politics. She is a bilingual (Spanish) educator at the AGA since October 2018.
