Madison Dewar

Madison Dewar is a printmaker and painter from Edmonton, Alberta. She has an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from the University of Alberta, and has displayed her work in a variety of festivals and venues, such as Nextfest, the AGA’s Refinery party, the Valley Zoo, Epcor Tower, and the Stollery Gallery. In her work, Madison uses the natural landscape as a means to explore a variety of topics, such as environmentalism, food culture and queer history. In 2016, she was selected as an RBC Emerging Artist in Residence at the Nina Haggerty Center for the arts, where she now works as a lead artist.
