Jerry Heine

Jerry Heine is an Edmonton artist, who received his art education at the University of Alberta, graphic art training at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and Washington School of Art. His art associations include a signature membership with the Northwest Watercolor Society in the United States and the Alberta Society of Artists. Heine was also a past member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, the Edmonton Art Club and the Society of Western Canadian Artists. For the past 24 years he has been instructing art at the University of Alberta Faculty of Extension, where his duties include art instruction, curating, student mentorship, adjudication and critique of student’s work. He also assist in other venues such as art clubs and their associations. Heine has had 35 solo exhibitions, many of them in Edmonton at Bugera Matheson Gallery and Jasper Park Lodge, as well as in Calgary and Vancouver where his work has been collected by many professional corporations and art collectors. His work has travelled to several European countries.
