Douglas Cardinal is the architectural visionary behind such buildings as the Canadian Museum of Civilization in Gatineau, Quebec, the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, DC, the First Nations University in Regina, Saskatchewan, St. Mary’s Church in Red Deer, Alberta and the Telus World of Science in Edmonton. Cardinal has been awarded fourteen Honourary Doctorates from several universities in Canada and the United States, and is an Officer of the Order of Canada.
This lecture is presented by M.A.D.E. in Edmonton in partnership with the Art Gallery of Alberta, and with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts.
