Dentons presents Canada Day at your AGA: free admission and galleries of Canadian art!

See iconic Canadian works of art by Group of Seven artists Lawren Harris and A.Y. Jackson.

Edmonton, AB (June 25/14) – Include a visit to the Art Gallery of Alberta (AGA) as part of your 2014 Canada Day celebrations with FREE ADMISSION courtesy of Dentons LLP on Tuesday, July 1 from 11 am to 5 pm.

Canada Day at your AGA features family friendly, Canada Day-inspired art projects that you can share, wear and take with you. All three floors of exhibitions will be open for viewing, providing visitors with the opportunity to see historical and contemporary works by local and national artists. Current exhibitions include: Lawren Harris and A.Y. Jackson: Jasper/Robson 1924; High Adventure: Byron Harmon in the Columbia Icefield, 1924; 90 x 90: Celebrating Art in Alberta, New Lines: Contemporary Drawings from the National Gallery of Canada; Alma Louise Visscher: Cathedral Cumulus and Jill Stanton: Strange Dream.
