ATB Financial Young Artists Competition

ATB Young Artists Competition

Deadline: March 23, 2012

ATB Financial and the Art Gallery of Alberta are pleased to announce the second annual ATB Financial Young Artists Competition. As part of a continued partnership, we’re once again looking for creative Grade 4 students across the province to tell Alberta’s stories through art. Last year’s competition was an overwhelming success, but we know that there are still stories out there waiting to be told!

Connecting to multiple areas of Alberta Education’s Grade 4 Programs of Study, including Language Arts, Social Studies and Visual Arts, we want students to create original artwork and share these stories, building a visual tapestry of our province’s history.

We are looking for expressive, imaginative artworks that showcase the multifaceted viewpoints of our Alberta narrative. Entries must be submitted by a Grade 4 teacher. The AGA and ATB Financial will select 30 winning submissions which will be professionally framed and featured in the spring of 2012 in an exhibition at the AGA in Edmonton.
