Alberta has the second highest rate of self-reported spousal violence in the country – and dating violence is, in fact, more prominent than spousal abuse. How do young people differentiate between healthy and unhealthy relationships? The Family Violence Prevention and Homeless Supports Division of Alberta Human Services invited students of Victoria School of the Arts to create works of art on dating violence and healthy relationships in recognition of Family Violence Prevention Month. The artwork in this exhibit is their response to this challenge.
This exhibition was produced by The Family Violence Prevention and Homeless Supports Division of Alberta Human Services, with the support of the Art Gallery of Alberta.
