Join in on a collaborative art installation with local artist Jennifer Poburan in our Education Gallery, or fashion a custom button to show your Alberta Culture Days Pride!
Drawing and Printmaking Workshops with Jennifer Poburan
Taking inspiration from Lady Spider House, guests will be invited to explore different drawing and printmaking techniques, including inter-media ink-blot drawing and mono-printing and intaglio experiments. Participants will have the opportunity to contribute one of their prints to a collaborative installation in the Education Gallery.
Design a custom-made button with the help of AGA staff and volunteers! Flip through magazines to find the perfect picture, or come up with your own creative design.

Lego Competition with MADE

Our popular Lego Competition is back! Sign your team up to build an Edmonton structure 50 years from now. Teams will face off against each other to win a highly coveted prize: one gold brick of Lego!
The AGA Presents: aAron munson
2 pm | Free
Join filmmaker aAron munson for an artist talk about Isachsen 1948 -78, an exhibition of the history of a remote arctic weather station. During his presentation, munson will talk about his personal connection to the project and how it evolved to its current state. The talk will be followed by a 35mm slide show and 8mm film screening of original footage shot at the station over 40 years ago.
Held in conjunction with RBC New Works exhibition Isachsen 1948 -78.
